My photography trip for Our Whole Village is nearly done. We had such a fantastic time that it was really hard to say goodbye, but thankfully I have a bit more to show you. We drove to Monte Cucco, which is a beautiful national park, where people go to hike, take in the views, hang glide, etc. Given the ages of our kids, we did a short hike/walk up one of the hillsides to overlook the valley. It was gorgeous so get ready for a lot of photos.
I love these next two photos! The sunbather didn’t have a care in the world, just laying next to his car in the parking lot.
After our strenuous hike, we felt ready for the picnic that we’d brought. Our hosts lovingly assembled the best picnic that I may ever eaten in my life. It was an amazing assortment of cheeses, cold cuts, breads, salads, dips, veggie crudite, sweet treats, fruit and drinks.
And then it became time for our farewell dinner.
The kids all bonded over the course of our week together, and the older boys were so sweet with the younger kids! Here the oldest is telling them a scary story.
This is the one family photo with me in it that we managed on the trip!
Don’t worry. I have a few more Italy photos to show you in another post!
