For us, fall seems to be in full swing already. My older one is in school again, my younger one is keeping himself busy without his brother, and my schedule is filling up. But I’m still sad to see summer go. We had such a fun time and, most recently, we were able to spend a few days in our favorite family vacation spot.
Any guesses?
On each of our trips, we’ve been exploring different parts of Maine and liked each area for different reasons. This time, we stayed around mid-coast and relaxed in a quiet Maine town. There was no agenda. Just simple fun like playing by the water. Or roasting marshmallows for s’mores for dessert. It was awesome and makes me wish summer break lasted longer!
The kids’ favorite part of the whole trip? Getting a private tour of the fire station, riding in the fire truck and squirting water with the fire captain. Gotta love small towns!
