Our last day in Italy we spent in Rome! If you’ve been, I think you’ll agree that it’s an amazing city that’s worth multiple visits.
It was a hot day so we ate our weight in gelato. We literally stopped for gelato 3 different times, which is some sort of record for me and may have pushed Rome to the top of my kids’ list of “favorite places to visit ever.”
The kids really, really wanted to go inside the Colosseum so we happily obliged. Always worth a stop with its fascinating history. The kids probably could have spent hours here looking at pictures of the gladiators and animals.
We love Italy. Already looking forward to next time, whenever that may be! I still can’t believe that my work was the reason for our visit.
